The Cooeenet@qld project was an initiative of Queensland Health and supported by the Federal Government's Clever Networks program. Its prime object was to improve the access of regional communities in North Queensland to specialist health and emergency services through the use of broadband technologies. A secondary objective was to leverage those technologies into the surrounding communities. After a competitive process, the Cooeenet@qld project managers selected Cirrus as the preferred provider for the regional telecommunications networks. Over a period of six weeks, Cirrus built and deployed a network supporting speeds of 10Mbps over some 160 square kilometres in and around Ingham and Bowen. It now operates the network.

With around 1000 students in K-12, this school on the Central Coast of NSW had Telstra fibre running to its door - but could not get more than 2Mbps delivered over it. Some 24 months later, Cirrus moved the School onto its 20Mbps service and provided a significant price reduction.

Video surveillance of town centres is becoming an increasingly important ingredient in modern public safety systems. These are typically deployed as part of a partnership between the local government authorities and the local police. There is often, however, a major barrier to the implementation of these networks: the costs of deploying a wired network linking the cameras with the police is prohibitive. Wireless links can however easily support the traffic levels required by even the highest specification cameras. Cirrus has implemented such a solution for the Gosford City Council.

St Paul's College at the University of Sydney is Australia's oldest residential College, having been founded in 1854. Previously obtaining its Internet service from the University, Cirrus now manages and maintains the College network and offers substantially reduced rates for Internet services to the residents. Cirrus also has installed secure WiFi access as well as hotel-style hotspot functionality, catering to the short term guests residing in the College during University vacations. Cirrus operates a sophisticated billing system allowing traffic to sites such as the University to be free of charge and full usage information to be maintained for each user.
